Rechmaya Square

Rechmaya Square, now known as “Presidents’ Square,” is a historic square located in the center of the village. It is distinguished by the presence of two statues representing Presidents of the Lebanese Republic: President Habib Pasha El-Saad and President Bechara El-Khoury, in addition to a statue of Bishop Ignatius Mubarak.

In the past, this square served as a meeting place where merchants and muleteers coming from outside the village would meet with its residents. Today, it functions as a venue for celebrations, festivals, and gatherings organized by the municipality.
